I dreamt last night of thousand stars
That refused to come back down.
I saw them glow in my heart
With the peace of some old thoughts,
As if it was still of sanity
To look within my heart,
I just lay there, thinking of those good old thoughts.
So then what happened? I remember asking
within that dream,
What happened to the last wish of the sailor's scene?
What happened to the promises of her eyes?
And to the last time she said goodbye?
Well, sanity is here as witness of those
seconds
That he desperately counts to remember for ever,
So he can build the rest of his whole life away from her
Remembering the seconds they shared together.
And as always, with its most profound
presence,
The insane will shy away from the truth,
Giving space for the sane to make sense
Of the love he still hates to feel in his chest;
For what was asked was refused.
